居民 completing the PGY1/PGY2 Community-based Pharmacy Administration and Leadership 住院医生实习期 Program will complete the ASHP requirements for the PGY1 Community-based 住院医生实习期 and the PGY2 Community-based Pharmacy Administration and Leadership 住院医生实习期. The resident will have the opportunity to complete residency standards for each program during the two years. 居民 typically complete most requirements for the PGY1 Community-based 住院医生实习期 Program during their first year. 目的: PGY2 pharmacy residency programs build on Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) education and PGY1 pharmacy residency programs to contribute to the development of 临床 pharmacists in specialized areas of practice. PGY2 residencies provide residents with opportunities to function independently as practitioners by conceptualizing and integrating accumulated experience and knowledge and incorporating both into the provision of patient care or other advanced practice settings. 居民 who successfully complete an accredited PGY2 pharmacy residency are prepared for advanced patient care, 学术, 或其他专业职位, 以及董事会认证, 如果可用.
描述: Graduates of the program will have competencies in assessing and resolving patient and organizational needs related to specialized medication therapies administered in the 社区, 复杂的药物分布模型, and evolving payment models in the outpatient setting. Participants will gain the business tools and knowledge to understand and analyze the changing nature of today’s complex medical delivery systems, plus the resource management skills and savvy to anticipate and respond to those changes. The two-year residency is combined with a Masters of Business Administration (M.B.A) with an emphasis in Health Care Management (54 credit hours) or a Master of Science (M.S.) in Health Care Management (36 credits hours) from The Johns Hopkins Carey Business School.

Collaboration with the Acute Care Health-System Pharmacy Administration 住院医生实习期
- There are two administration and leadership residency programs within the Johns Hopkins Health System, an acute care and a 社区 focused residency program. Both programs collaborate closely and have many shared learning opportunities.

- All Johns Hopkins pharmacy administration and leadership residents have the opportunity to complete rotations in all sites of care within the health-system. The ratio of time spent in each site of care will vary between programs (for example: the 社区药房 Administration and Leadership Resident will have some rotation in the acute care setting but will spend the majority of their time in the 社区, 专业, 和门诊设置).
